Australian National Reserve Champion FEI Para Equestrian Grade Ib 2016

(September 2016 Update) Sam is currently training medium and scoring up to 71% at Official Novice with 8s for movement

HANNA PODEROSO is the first Jaleador DE JC III offspring to hit the shores of Australia; having been imported from NZ by Victoria & Michael 2011 at 6 months of age as a future Dressage and Para Dressage mount for Victoria in the upcoming years.

'Sam' is a beautiful, tall, strong boned, correct stallion that holds very impressive dressage genetics; sharing some of his genetics with PRE stallion Olympic sensation FUEGO DE CARDENAS via his sire line.

Sam also shares genetics with UBIO, the first ever PRE stallion licensed for a German Warmblood Studbook, and ILLES, who is one the dressage mounts of Victor Alvarez. These genetics alone make HANNA PODEROSO a valuable breeding stallion for future dressage mounts.

At such a young age he has wowed the public and judges with his stunning Spanish looks, temperament and impressive movement - freedom in the shoulders, forward, powerful hock action and a jaw dropping extension!

Sam has been successfully campaigned at AHAA breed events, open dressage days and competed FEI Para Equestrian at National level. He was broken in at 2.5 years old by a professional trainer who has been a valuable mentor of Sam's training throughout the years. Sam has also had training in Working Equitation and loves his trails rides!

Sam is owned, handled and ridden by Australian High Performance Para Equestrian; he has proven to be a sensible, reliable riding mount for Victoria. 2016 marked Sam's first year competing at FEI Para Equestrian level, which is quite young to be competing at this level; together with Victoria riding they scored over 68% and were named AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL RESERVE CHAMPION FEI PARA EQUESTRIAN GRADE IB.
